Ultra-Pro Shade cloth is designed to protect plants, nursery stock, people and farm livestock from effects of sunlight, heat, wind and ultra violet rays. Where adequate protection is not provided, productivity can be lost as a result of the sensitive plants and livestock being burnt, heat stressed or chilled by wind.
Choice of Ultra-Pro shadecloth grades
Ultra-Pro shade fabrics are available in choice of shade factors, which include:
Very Light, Light, Medium and Heavy. The shade factor will determine the approximate amount of shade provided by the fabric. For commercial growers, Ultra-Pro shadecloth also has the effect of providing a more sheltered environment where heat and wind velocity can be cut down by the overhead shadecloth structure.
